if I were blonde
At lunch on Friday, I sat next to a young woman from Milwaukee at a software conference we were attending. After we had been talking and eating for quite a while, she suddenly turned to me and said, “Has anyone ever told you that you look exactly like Reese Witherspoon?”
I told her that yes, in fact, several people have mentioned that I resemble her. The woman went on to say that if I dyed my hair blonde, I’d be a dead ringer for Reese. That might be stretching it a bit… but I guess now I know what I’d look like as a blonde.

There’s an interesting website called MyHeritage where you can upload a photo and see which celebrities you resemble. The face recognition technology compares your face to more than 4000 celebrity faces in their database. This evening I uploaded a variety of photos from the past few years, and the results were surprisingly consistent.
Apparently even MyHeritage thinks I resemble Reese Witherspoon… as well as Christie Brinkley, Maria Sharapova, Patsy Cline, Oprah Winfrey, Bob Hope, and many others, depending on the picture.
It’s an excellent tool for procrastination…

I did this myself, and it told me what someone told me once, that I look like Drew Barrymore.

Huh…Sara’s comment is funny because I think YOU look like Drew Barrymore (at least in the movie “The Wedding Singer”) Seriously, every time I watch that movie, I think of you. But I don’t know what she looks like in other movies…I know stage make up can do a lot to change a person’s face.

I had never seen The Wedding Singer, but since you mentioned it, I checked it out of the library the other night and watched it. I don’t mind if people think I look like Drew Barrymore.
