the dog days of summer
Exhibit A
Weary Toddler: spent the afternoon slowly husking corn, filling in a sinkhole (which opened under Aunt Rachel’s foot), and playing outside.
Exhibit B
Thirsty Toddler: wasn’t interested in going too close to the sprinkler until Aunt Rachel purposely put a kink in the hose, unintentionally creating a watering hole.
