an open invitation to my book club
I’ve been wanting to join a book club and have been keeping my ears open, but I haven’t heard of any local groups. In theory, a library would be a good place to get connected with a book club, and when I visited the local library’s website tonight, I learned that there is one such group I could join… if I were unemployed. They meet on Monday afternoons.
So I’m starting my own book club. If you live in the general vicinity of Harrisonburg, Virginia, and would like to consider joining my book club, let me know. The specifics will be decided by the group, but I imagine this to be a group of men and women who meet once every month or so to discuss a book selection that we have all read.

yeah i’m in.
maybe we should read jane austen books, and then we’ll all fall in love, and then someone will make a movie about us.
